Paul Sapiano, Writer/Director

Born in England, football and film are in his blood. After an illustrious career directing award winning commercials, Sapiano wrote his first feature in 2004 “Twisted Fortune” starring Charlie Murphy. 2008 saw the release of his cult comedy “The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down” - on the back of numerous festival awards, this film spawned a pilot on Comedy Central and is the first in a franchise of seven “Boys and Girls Guide” films. More recently he wrote and directed the war film “Hollywood Sex Wars” which is currently airing on Showtime, and he is now in preproduction on his racially charged comedy “Driving While Black”. Never dull, his dry British wit and a palpable sense of style are the trademarks of this emerging talent.
